The seventh annual ROCORI Coaches Carnival will occur on Friday, March 22nd from 3-5:30PM in the ROCORI High School and Middle School Gyms and Commons.
Students in grades 3-8 will be invited and informed about the event during school and a permission sheet will be sent home. Please encourage students to bring their permission slips and $6 to their teachers prior to the event this week as this will help check them in faster at the door. (Sheets will be available through the schools if needed).
All students in grades 3-8 are invited to attend the event without a parent. Students who are younger can come but will need to come with a parent or guardian and sign up at the door. Eligible students who decide to come at the last minute can also check in at the door (#11). All parents of students are welcome to attend with their children.
The carnival will include many prizes and fun activities including many sports or activity booths and inflatable fun areas. This event will also allow students to meet and have fun with current ROCORI High School athletes. Music will be provided and there will be numerous awards and prizes to win at over 50 various activity booths as well as a drawing with special prizes at the end in the auditorium. There will also be concessions available including cotton candy.
Mission Possible Episode 5 brings us to Academy Day, a day in which teachers get to be students for the day and take advantage of personalized learning opportunities. Academy Day happens every January on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and now hosts four districts in addition to ROCORI staff!
Another great episode of “Josh Hunt” is here! Episode 4 is all about STEM engineering. From the youngest learners in kindergarten to the oldest learners in high school at ROCORI, see how their hands-on exploration of engineering takes place.
