John Clark Elementary uses Raptor visitor management system to keep are students and staff safe. Part of keeping students and staff safe is knowing who is in our building at all times. The Raptor visitor system allows us to track visitors, contractors, and volunteers in our schools which provides us with a safer environment for our students and staff.
When visiting John Clark Elementary, please use Door 1 and proceed to the main office.
The first time you visit one of our buildings during the school day, you will be asked to present a valid state-issued ID. Your ID will be scanned by the system. Your name and date of birth will be compared with a national database of registered sex offenders. The system will retain this basic information in addition to a copy of your ID photo. Additional data from the driver's license is not scanned by the system and is not accessible to any of the users.
Once entry is approved, a badge will be printed that includes your name, the current date, and the location of your visit along with your photo. You will wear this badge while you are in the building. A visitor’s badge will not be necessary for those who will remain in the school office.
