School Assembly
Paralympian Mallory Weggemann will be joining our school on October 8th to deliver a powerful message about how she overcame paralysis to become an Olympic Gold Medalist in 2020. She recently completed authoring the book Limitless: The Power of Hope and Resiliency to Overcome Challenges. This presentation will happen separately for Middle School and High School students during our school day next Friday. You can learn more about Mallory Weggemann on her Olympic profile, or several other places on the internet. Thank you to Coldspring for providing this opportunity for our student body to learn how they can use the power of hope and resiliency to overcome challenges in their life.
TIK TOK CHALLENGE
We continue to see some of these challenges taking place in our Secondary building. Please help us by talking with your student and advise them not to participate in these inappropriate and illegal activities. Please do not let a social media request hurt your child's standing as a ROCORI student. We received news that the challenge for the month of October is “smack a staff member”. Students will have severe consequences which could include suspension or expulsion. On top of the school consequences Stearns County Sheriff Department will investigate, charge, and prosecute students for disorderly conduct, assault and or criminal sexual conduct.
