Registration is now open. We will have you signup and send me the registration form with payment by March 11.
We will also be having an informational meeting February 21 at 6:00 at In-Tune Marine in Richmond. We will go over what we offer. We will also have guest speakers Brian Bengston and Aaron Teal from In-Tune Marine on hand that night as well to talk fishing.

Below is the info on what we do. I will do my best to explain it at our meeting and you can sign up that night if you wish or by March 11 but it is very helpful to get registrations ahead of time. Feel to call, text or email me with any questions.
1) What we do
We are a high school fishing teams for kids 9-12 grades. Kids entering 9th grade (current 8th graders) in the fall for the 2022 school year are eligible
2) What your $ 100 registration fee gets you. (Registration deadline March 11)
Team jersey and hat. We expect our anglers to wear your jersey and hat at each team event.
We are fortunate to have many sponsors and it is the least we can do.
If you want an additional jersey, for example, for a parent or boat captain, they will be $ 45.
You will need to you add the persons name and size on the registration form.
Access to weekly team fishing league and prizes.
Team ruler (If you were with us last year, we ask you reuse them.) New rulers will given out to new kids who sign up
Membership to The Bass Federation. I will get you a tbf number which they assign you.
You will need the tbf number if you want to signup for the Student Angler Trail Tournaments (MNSATT.org) this summer
3) Fishing industry discount package.
The team discount package will be emailed to you once I receive your registration.
Companies are constantly changing their processes of how they administer their discounts and codes but I will try my best to keep you on top of the changes.
4) Boat Captains
Kids need to supply their own boat captains.
5) Remind App.
I will be using the remind app for communication. If you are not in our remind group, send me a text (250-0218). I will then send you an invite for you to accept to join our remind group. Our remind name is ROCORI Fishing 2022
6) Fishdonkey -
We will be using the fishdonkey app this summer for our wednesday league night bass fishing events. Please download the fishdonkey app and create an account. Then select the tourney "Practice Entering a Fish" There is no charge for this. Once I have that weeks event set up, you will need to signup for it thru the fishdonkey app. We will be using the team supplied rulers to take pics of the fish. you may round up to the nearest 1/4". Fish pics need to be taken through the fishdonkey app. see tutorial below for entering a fish.
In addition to our league events, we will also be having a season long fishdonkey tourney which will start May 14. Categories will be largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, musky/northern pike, catfish, sunfish and crappie. We will then award prizes for each category at our year end event. The more you fish, the more chances you have to catch an eligible fish. Please take a pic of the on the ruler with the nose touching the end of the ruler. Pic has to be taken on a ruler/bump board or it will not count. no tape measure measurements. Also take a pic of you holding the fish for our social media.

7) League Night
Our weekly bass fishing nights will be on wednesdays starting around the end of may or first week of june. We are still working on dates, lakes and the format. I will send out schedules at a future date. 6:00 – 9:00 will be fishing times. Fish pics need to be taken during this time frame or the fish will not count.
8) We will hold a team tourney. This will be full day event. It will probably be sometime in August Date TBD. We will be competing for some very nice prizes.
9) MN Student Angler Trail (mnsatt.org)
The minnesota student angler trail is a very popular event for our kids. There are tourneys across the state to participate in in. I am proud to say our kids have done very well in these tourneys. Two person teams and a boat captain are required. You are responsible for your own boat captain for these tourneys. Tourneys fill up literally in a manner of minutes so be prepared if you want to signup. In order to signup, you will need your tbf number which is supplied by the bass federation. If you were with us last year, it is the same number you had before. If you are new, I will get you your number.
10) Classic Bass
Classic Bass is one of Minnesota's most prestigious pro bass circuits and they work very closely with the MN Student Angler Trail. Classic Bass offers high school kids opportunities to be a boat captain for the day with a pro angler at their tourneys. You also make $ 50 and get lunch!! Go to classicbass.com for more details.
11) Jerseys and clothing.
Jerseys are included in the entry fee. However, you have the opportunity to order optional clothing, details tbd.
