ROCORI Activities Information:

ROCORI athletes and families,

Wednesday evening, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz released Emergency Executive Order 20-99 which initiates restrictions on all organized youth and high school sports beginning at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020.  These restrictions directly impact all Minnesota State High School League fine arts and athletic programs that are in-season or projected to start in the next three weeks.  The current restrictions remain in force through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020.

In accordance with Executive Order 20-99, all in-person gatherings of athletic teams or activity groups must cease by Friday, 11-20.  This means:

  • No open gyms.
  • No captain’s practices.
  • No open weight room.

Also included is an order for no usage of the school facilities by outside groups during this pause.

The dance season has completing the second week of its season and must stop all in-person practice and competition from 11-21 through 12-18.  Coaches may maintain virtual connection with their student-athletes and provide support, mentorship and individualized workouts.

All other winter sports are open to begin virtually only starting on 11-23.  Coaches may also have virtual connection with their student-athletes and provide support, mentorship and individualized workouts.

Families are encouraged to still sign their student(s) up for their intending winter sport via our online registration site.  However, paying winter fees is not necessary at this time, until we know what the winter season will look like.  Further decisions on activities will be made after the pause period which is scheduled to end after 12-18.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and continue to support our kids during these challenging times.

We are requesting that you pay the activity fee on RevTrak.  If this does not work for you, we will accept a check or cash.

Dear ROCORI Supporters,

With the beginning of another school year, we have officially launched our annual ROCORI Spartans Booster Club membership drive for 2020-21 and I wish to thank you for your past support of ROCORI Athletics.  This has been an unprecedented fall with numerous changes and adjustments to all activities and our students and programs need our continued support.

Within the past couple of months, the ROCORI Booster Club announced our project for a multi-purpose turf field located on ROCORI’s Secondary School campus. The project, which is fully funded through private gifts, is currently underway with a target completion date in early November. It will be ready for use early next spring as the new home for boys and girls soccer, 9-12 football, boys and girls lacrosse, and it will serve as needed as a practice facility for softball, baseball, track and field, dance team and band. The field will also be an outdoor classroom for physical education for elementary, middle school and high school students for decades to come.

A project of this size would not be possible without the outstanding support from our community. Each year ROCORI families, along with our business and corporate partners, come together to help provide significant resources that allow our student athletes to compete at a high level through conference, section and state competition. This past year, the ROCORI Spartans Booster Club provided over $80,000 to help our coaches and student athletes succeed. In addition to larger projects, this important direct support will continue. Our primary mission is to fund extraordinary expenses and projects that are central to sustaining our proud athletic tradition. The new multi-purpose turf field reflects this mission.

Please consider renewing your membership at one of our three membership levels: Red, Black or White.  In November/December we will update the large gymnasium banner with the names of all members for the 2020-21 year. You may send your membership by mail using the enclose form or join online at  Thanks for your consideration and generosity.  Go Spartans!

Warm Regards,

John Young
