2023-24 Covid Procedures for Rocori School District 750

Now called “Respiratory Virus Guidance”

 

If you test positive for Covid 19, Influenza or RSV 

• Stay home if you are too sick to participate in school. You can return once you feel you are able to fully participate. 

• You must stay home if you have a fever, and you must be fever free, without fever reducing medications, for 24 hours 

• There is no quarantine time for Covid anymore, once your symptoms feel good enough to be in school and you have been fever free for 24 hours, you can return to school 

• Masking is optional but not required 

• Practice good hand hygiene with either hand sanitizer or soap and water, as needed 

• Properly covering coughs and sneezes to minimize transmission of virus 

As with all illnesses, if you have a fever, above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, or are sick, stay home. You must be fever free for 24 hours, without fever reducing medications before you return to school. If the health office deems your child is too sick to be in school, you will be called and asked to pick up your child.
